swimming!
I signed up for adult learn to swim classes this past week. so i'm 1/9 of the way to learning how to swim this summer. they're moving a little too fast for me... i can't even float, i don't need to learn a whip kick! i'm going to go and practice at my aunts some time this week so that i won't look like such a fool next time. it's not so bad cuz i don't wear my glasses and i can't really tell who the people are anyway. there's this guy with a massive beard who flails like crazy and splashes every time he moves. there's also an asian guy there, but he seems to be doing okay. I hope i actually learn something these coming weeks and can go back to montreal with a sense of accomplishment. ;)

thinking about going to montreal for the civic holiday week-end. but not sure if i should as i will be heading back in 3 weeks anyway. my boyfriend's uncle is having an 'Epluchette de bledin" which is a corn on the cob party. i think this would be loads of fun... i love corn on the cob and i love parties. Don't know if I can spend the money. My dad suggested that I drive up, but I'm not sure if i'm ready yet for 5 hour road trips. Anyone wanting to head up to montreal that week-end?
