Yeah: The Buffy/Riley in "Where the Wild Things Are" always left me rolling my eyes, not because I wasn't invested in their relationship (though I wasn't), but because I couldn't buy the idea of them having that kind of crazy sex. I mean, there's no chemistry between SMG and Marc Blucas.

I never understood SMG/Blucas. It just never worked for me. I dunno. Blucas is just...maybe he's more impressive in person? Whatever the case may be, he completely lacked sexual charisma for me.

It's interesting though because SMG is one of my fav actresses in love scenes. She just knows how to sell it. Like in Storyteller with the romance novel in slow mo scene, the way she closes her eyes and moves slowly towards Spike...damn.
