It's definitely nice to see the Prince choosing to live in the Little Mermaid's world rather than forcing her to change her identity for him... and on the opposite side, it's nice to see Beauty accepting and rejoicing in the Beast's beastliness. XD

Yes, it's really fabulous, isn't it? All about women's choice, less about women sacrificing for men and more about them embracing what they want joyfully and lustfully.

And it may just be my interpretation of the video, but it's quite refreshing that, instead of being saddled with a marriage to a complete stranger, that the prince who comes to Sleeping Beauty might be there to fulfill her with friendship (the joys of having a gorgeous gay-guy-pal). XD

I definitely think you could go with that reading because the dynamic after Sleeping Beauty wakes up is very playful and potentially platonic. Not that romantic couples can't be playful, too.
