I've been watching Tim Minear's new show The Chicago Code (created by Shawn Ryan who also created The Shield). I like it. It reminds me a bit of The Wire (I'm not saying it's exactly like it or that it's as good, but...) in that you really get a sense for the city through how the show is shot.

I've heard so little about The Chicago Code that I was worried it had simply died quietly. Given that one of my favourite series is Minear's The Inside, I had hopes for this series. Given Minear's record, he must be happy they've already got to seven episodes! Must mean there's only six more to go before cancellation! :-)
