So I'm pretty sure I'm doing it wrong because I just WROTE BUFFY META, being all serious and heartfelt, and posted it in the comments where everyone is campaigning.  I don't care!  I can't stop myself from vomiting Buffy-inspired rainbows!

Except that that's hotlinking and very much not appreciated by people who have a bandwidth cap. What you're really supposed to do is save the gif to your computer, upload it to your own account/host and then link it. There are a few hosts where you can be less strict with that, like LJ's own Scrapbook, Tiny Pic and Image Shack (I believe). But NEVER hotlink from someone else's Photobucket account or private web site. That's a big no-no.

I saved it to my Imageshack account first and then used the direct link from there :)
