Stefan is becoming more and more likable with every scene he's with Caroline. The werewolves look pretty cool--thank god they look like actual wolves. Alaric is back!
Yes, Stefan and Caroline were a lot of fun in this episode. And like True Blood is looks like they are using actual wolves - thank you god!
Alaric is back and I hope that at least he and Jenna will have an actual storyline. She just fills up space right now.
And I'm going to be curious to see why Tyler hasn't changed yet, is there an age when it starts or what. Uncle Mason needs to explain it all to us.
Huh. I like this idea in theory, but I'm too invested in Stefan/Katherine and Caroline/Matt to want it to go there. I like him playing big brother, though. And I just want Matt and Caroline to be happy! *wails*
Damon saves Elena, but then he has to continue being a jerk. Oh immature vampire boy.
Yeah, but this episode still felt very shippy to me. Their every interaction just shows how aware of each other they are! Like when she kissed Stefan? But she was totally thinking about Damon, even if it was to rub it in his face. The whole thing made me happy.
Basically, it made me doubt that Matt actually did love Caroline. Huh. Really? I mean, she's been way weird since she almost died. I agree that the writing took their breakup too fast--there should have been more than her being jealous--but I love them too much together.
But I love Caroline for pushing him away for his own good. It was one of the most selfless things she's ever done and just goes to show that if becoming a vampire has amplified her

I have more Stefan ships than I know what to do with, but Stefan/Caroline is definitely my new favorite. I love her calling him out on having a 'serious vampire face' because he SO does. Oh, Stefan.
It was one of the most selfless things she's ever done and just goes to show that if becoming a vampire has amplified her characteristics, that's not all bad. Maybe she's even more selfless as a vampire.
I loved this too. It's such a good symbol of how much she's grown since the start of the show. She used to put so much of her self-esteem into having a guy and now she's purposely letting one go.
I felt the Katherine in Elena from the moment her lips touched Stefan's by the car (seriously, I was like "woah! How very Katherine of you!") and then Damon goes and says it out loud in the last scene. I have to say that I love them like this. I love that it's not easy and I love that they have a history of a solid friendship, even if it's bad now. And I don't mind her bitchy- she has a really good reason, and I don't think it will last forever. I do think Damon thought Jeremy had vampire blood in his system when he killed him, though (he said as much then), and I wish someone would say something.
I heart Caroline like crazy. She and Stefan make me happy.
