TSCC was really quite a good show, I loved the character dynamics, though they sometimes threw me off with incredibly stupid mistakes, like the whole blood transfusion story, where they assign John and Sarrah blood groups that make it genetically impossible that they are mother and son.
Oh, I don't remember that bit. What episode was that from?
I'm rewatching the end of "Today is the Day" and Derek is explaining how Billy Wisher was his best friend in his squad. But that Jesse doesn't remember or know Billy Wisher. Because it turns out Billy Wisher's real name was Andy Good, the guy who built the Turk that will become Skynet. It's been a while since I watched Season 1, but was it clear Derek knew Andy Goode back then? I guess I don't really remember if that was clear back then. Reading the wiki, I guess it was.
Sometimes the timeline stuff is hard to follow if you're not really paying close attention to all the details.
I didn't completely hate Sarah's arc, but I did think it was very draggy and dull on first viewing. (And yes, okay, I may have been a bit sour grapes-y over the lack of Cameron.) That meta's caused me to appreciate it way more now, so thanks for the link!
John confronting Jesse is such a crowning moment of awesome for him. I've always loved his character, but. Yeah. Wow.
Cameron's "It's usually not a decision" followed by the detonator scene always kills me a bit. She's just so CONFUSED. I like how Summer Glau can convey such intense 'emotion' in Cameron even when sticking to her monotone voice/subtle facial expressions. Like when she first crushes the pigeon she just sort of frowns, but it completely reads as her being TOTALLY FREAKED OUT.
Rec time! Okay, what I have is mostly Cameron (man, Sarahfic is scarce), and there's more where this came from, in case you still want more: A Jack Knifed Juggernaut (I am born again) is perhaps my favorite fic specifically dealing with Cameron's POV on her chip damage, and also has some great
( ... )
Yeah, the Sarah episodes were slow and the first go-around I didn't appreciate, but I think I just wasn't really paying close enough attention. So now I can see the brilliance there and it's cool. But I feel you on missing Cameron, I do. I love her character.
Oh, I need to do a T:SCC rewatch. I adored that show. It was so awesome. Especially season two. And the ending! Gah! There are so many ways they could have gone with that. If only they hadn't canceled the show.
*sigh*
Man, now you've made miss this show again. *sniffle* I'll have to go watch it all again.
Sorry, no recs. It's been a while since I've read any T:SCC fics, and I didn't save any. I really wasn't that involved in the fandom, I just loved the show and would write little drabbles and things when inspired. (Though if you do find some truly awesome one, you should share. :) )
One warning about my T:SCC fic though: there is one Derek/John drabble, if that squicks you. I didn't really ship them when I watched it (or at all, actually) but the idea of that drabble wouldn't let me go (small thing that it was) so I wrote it just so it would leave me alone. Hah.

Also, I'm totally about to read your T:SCC fic after I finish Season 2. Hey, you don't have any recs, do you? If you like it, I'm sure I'll love it!
Gah, I'm dreading reaching the end. It just makes me so sad. Only two eps left. :(

Oh, and I really love that Sarah Connor icon.
