Grrr. Angel always pisses me off with his pettiness. Your take is just how he acted much in canon to me. It's how he acted when he found out Buffy was involved with Spike and when Cordy was involved with Groo. Yet, he had thought his involvement with other women like these ladies, Darla and Nina was something Buffy and Cordy didn't need to know about.
