(no subject)
This weekend went pretty fast, I kept myself busy for most of it too. On Saturday I spent the whole day doing a complete clean out of my room & clothes...i swear i got rid of a pile of clothes about half a metre high that i don't wear anymore. But at least now i can see my floor & now my room loooks big again :P
Anyhoo Saturday afternoon Lou came around & visited for the afternoon, that was fun, we sat talking & laughing for about 3-4 hours.
On Sunday I spent the morning doing some drawings & then before lunch i went for a 5&1/2km run/walk...it was real good & came back feeling great, it was freakin hot. Anyway got a text from Ashley & so him and Dean came out to see me for the afternoon & they hung out here for a bit...being dodgey as usual...those are two very desperate boys. lol
Today was crazy, im so pooped worked from 9am-5.45pm with like an hours break. Put lotsa signs together today and then spent the afternoon doing computer work. I'm had it, I can feel my eyelids closing in on me.
Last night I was told that Grandma has stopped taking her drugs (well has asked not to be given them anymore - partly because she can't swallow them & ends up choking, but mostly because she's decided she's had enough with life & feels that it's her time to die). It's so sad, this has been draggin on for such a long time now, when she was diagnosed with lung cancer & emphasima a few years ago they only gave her about a year to live if that & she's just kept on fighting. But now that she is off all he drugs that's been keeping her alive & is now only on morphine for the pain it means that any day now she could be gone...she's withered away to nothing, nobody knows how long she's going to hold on..could be days, could be weeks, could be months. It's just so hard each day not knowing whether we're gunna get that call or not. Life is cruel, it truely is.
