Fall Fun
So, I think this is the first year I have actually embraced Fall and tried to enjoy it. As I mentioned a few entries ago, went apple picking and to the Topsfield Fair. Last weekend we went to the Pumpkin Carving Festival in Boston which was lots of fun. Boston was trying to beat the world record for the most amount of lit carved pumpkins in an area. So we went and carved pumpkins and saw all the rest of them. We were gonna attempt Salem** after, but never made it. So we just got alcohol and food and hung out at my house.
**We attempted Salem again this week but apparently on the weeknights they are closed early.
The kids have been behaving a LITTLE bit better. Mostly because I'm sticking with my no tolerance policy and I've done the behavior board. My numbers are also getting up there, as of this week I have 35. I really need another staff though.. ugh. It's so hard to be direct care and try to handle all the problems and parents at the same time.
The Halloween Party was a hit. I think the kids had fun. They were all off the wall - but they were cute.
So I've been back on Weight Watchers- my 4th weigh in and I'm down 11.6 altogether. I've also decided that when I get to 25 I am going to get my nose pierced. I've wanted to do it for awhile anyways, and I figure it'll keep me motivated on Weight Watchers and that'll be a nice reward. So almost halfway to that goal.
No new boys. There are a few guys at the school that me and Kristen think are cute. Oh man - there's a beautiful cop who works at the school, but he's got a ring. How disappointing. Then there's a lifeguard who is also a teacher at that school during the day. He's kind of handsome. Then there's the OT/PT tall, dark, handsome guy who has the deepest voice and is kinda thug.
I miss my digital camera. I sent it out last weekend to be fixed by Fuji and they sent me the Warranty Repair Acknowledgement - so I hope I get it back soon. I miss taking crazy amounts of pictures like I always do.
The rest of the year is gonna fly by - I just know it. Next weekend I am babysitting Jalen Friday and then Mom moves :(. The following weekend, no work Friday but I have "Program School" all day Friday, Saturday, Sunday.. 8-6. OH BARF! Then, the weekend after that .. nothing right now... Following weekend is Thanksgiving / Auntie up / Going away (?) / Reunion (?) ... Then it's December and December always flies by.. So yea.
I have a lot of stuff on my mind but I don't feel like discussing any further.
