Lime green :-)
So, I just officially finished painting my room lime green. Well, and purple. I am hoping the purple didn't mess it all up either because I think it looks kind of blotchy right now. We will see when it dries. Either way, I am feeling very productive this week. I actually applied for jobs. I painted my room. I organized my stuff. I went to church. Yeppers, I am a busy gal. Well, kind of.
Beside that, I have no life really. That's ok because it is about time my life slowed down for a little while. This is the first Friday night in years that I have spent with my family. We went out to eat (to IHOPs because all I could chew were pancakes because of my wisdom teeth...details later). Then we went shopping at some stores. I actually found curtains that I like, but now we have to see if they match the walls. Fun fun. Overall, I am content for the moment.
I had some good conversations with friends from school this week. Gotta love IM and cell phones. I miss them all. I also had a huge wave of missing-ness yesterday when I started thinking about the kids at my internship, the kids I babysit, then inevitably the kids in El Fondo. I started praying that God places me somewhere this summer with kids because that is where my heart is really...it is nice to finally have realized this.
Ok, so I got my wisdom teeth out!!! All four of them!!! In the end, it wasn't so bad. I didn't swell up...I didn't have to use pain medication. Nothing. Because of my wonderful recovery, I have now dubbed myself Superwoman...because geepers, I have heard some horror stories about the wisdom teeth operations. Not to mention, I had a friend in high school who looked like she was about to die after she got hers out. Haha.
Thats all for now. I am going to go attempt renting Swing Kids for my parents. They haven't seen it, and I know my dad would really like it.
