I got nominated for Best Angst Fic and Best Mylar Fanmix* in the Mylar Fic Awards! Sweeeeet. Whoever nominated me, thank you SO much! I had figured that I wouldn't make any of the categories, but it's really nice to know that there are people who value my writing and... fanmixing abilities? xD To be honest, that second nom was even more of a pleasant surprise than the first. However, I am still extremely grateful for the nominations.
Even if you don't think my stuff is all that great (meaning: please don't feel obligated to vote for me), please put in your votes before October 9! Also, congratulations to everyone else who was nominated, and a HUGE thank-you to ladywilde80 , neshel , and widestance75 for making this happen.
*I've realized that the zip file to the fanmix is unavailable, and I was originally going to repost the Megaupload link to it today, but:
a) My connection is so shitty that it would take me like, 5 hours to upload it at home (and that's if I'm lucky)
b) I forgot to bring my external hard drive to the library *Facepalm* I will definitely do so tomorrow, because I know I'd be a little frustrated if I clicked on a fanmix and then couldn't download the songs. So, it will be up soon, I promise!
