(no subject)
Ahh, So I have been to the Grand Theatre (Swansea) a lot recently!!
I saw The Doctor and The Devils by Dylan Thomas (performed for the first time on stage - it was a screenplay) and 'twas lovely. The main character, Dr Rock, was this awesome anti-playing-the-game athiest who did everything in the persuit of knowledge, having cut down God, and he had the same voice as old Mitchell!! (pilot) and he was also tall and dark haired, I almost died everytime he spoke. (and we were in the middle of the floor, so we saw really close)
Then I saw The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, who were amazing and funny, my favourite song being:
They were all really witty people too, so If you get a chance to see them live I highly reccomend it.
And finally, I went to the Arts Department to see some Noel Coward pieces, done with a miniscule cast. (3 actors and a pianist) Which were clever and witty. The second was the one that was to become the movie "Brief Encounters".
