WOO HOO!
Well, this past Friday's game ROCKED!
We had 26 in attendance. TWENTY-SIX! Want me to say it again? Hello? 26
Am I proud? Oh hell yes! We had some folks come back from Secundus, thanks, guys. Welcome back and hope you had fun.
We have the Changeling game letting out early so their players can come and they are talking about changing their playing time period so folks can come! That rocks!
SO glad you folks get to make it.
Some folks were there who hadn't been able to make it in a couple games due to real life. Completely understandable. Real life ALWAYS comes first!
Have one friend who isn't going to be able to make it for a couple of games. That's understandable as well. She's part of a safety crew for a fire dancing troupe. Can't have the dancers going up in flames, now can we?
My other friend, from my Sunday TT game, is coming and really enjoying it. We're gonna try and drag her sweetie to game sometime so he can check it out. We're thinking he might enjoy it as well.
Game is growing in leaps and bounds and I couldn't be happier. We've gone from like 9 to going on 30 in about 3 months now? WOW! Don't want to brag too much. Don't want to jinx things.
Don't get me wrong, some of the BEST games we had were our core group of 9. We had a BLAST and it allowed ALL of our characters to grow and all of us to work towards something besides a growth on the character sheets.
Now... I'm sick. Again. Our pool guy, who was fired today YAY!, sucked! Last time I went swimming, I ended up with some respiratory thingie. I got about over it and went swimming again the other night. After dark, so I couldn't see the state the pool was in. Well, obviously, again, it was disgusting. I ended up sleeping about 20 out of 24 hours from Saturday to Sunday. I was SOOOOOOO sick. Saturday night was the culmination of it all. I didn't even game at our usual TT game I was so sick. So I call to complain to the management today and she lets me know he's been fired and someone from another property is coming to clean it up and they are hiring someone new.
About damned time.
