Gain and pain

Nothing helps better appreciate the value of the other side of the equation as stepping into this other side's shoes.

In my case almost literally. Sue usually makes me lead the move when she is not satisfied with my performance. As a result, I am slowly gaining some leading skills and am asked to lead when there is a shortage of leaders in the class ever more often. Works fine in the beginners' class, but when the first encounter with a sacada is a sequence of five different variations including back sacadas for both follower and leader, life suddenly acquires an unexpected dimension. About 50 minutes of such exercise yesterday produced a brain damage that required 10 hours of sleep for full recovery. This is the second time with the same effect. The previous experiment included ganchos and cadena with ganchos.

I guess, I have no other choice - I need to learn how to lead properly. Well, at least it is not singing flamenco songs, as before ...

Or should I look for a decent  mental institution instead?
