packing!
is turning out to be way trickier than i thought. i'm trying my damndest to condense but... what does one bring for starting life in the uk? if i was packing for brazil, this would be MUCH EASIER. i'd pack a zillion tank tops, one sweater-y type thing and be done but moving to scotland? not so much. (of course i an leave out the zillion tank tops but... ha.) and shoes, how will i make shoe decisions? it's like choosing between children! ok, maybe not but still it's a damn good thing i'm doing this NOW rather than the night before i'm supposed to head to wherever. (although technically i may be heading to nyc tomorrow to drop off crap so perhaps i'm overestimating my foresight?) i may have to sleep on these decisions. right now i'm not getting much of anywhere. when i review what i've packed thus far in the morning, i'll probably decide to toss half of it out and into the goodwill pile. time to clear my brain with some tv...
