It was cold, but Jack didn't care. He was standing on the balcony of his apartment - and he'd never thought he'd ever get to use the thing - drinking coffee and looking out over the city. Rome was nice, it'd be nicer in a few hundred years, but really, the twenty-first century had been good to it.
