Jack was still amused over his encounter on the stairs, and kind of regretting his promise. This body seemed like it could be a lot of fun. "Anyone home?" he called as he pushed open the door.

Cedric was still wearing the blanket and stood up when someone else entered the room. "Who're you?"

His amusement died away and he carefully shut the door behind him. "It's me, Cedric, Jack. You okay?"

"I'm fine," he said, frowning. "You're Jack?"

[vkandis_son]

"I am. Here, I'll prove it to you." He approached Cedric slowly, and reached out to touch his cheek, leaning in to kiss him, automatically adjusting for the slightly different angle.

"That's different," Cedric said, returning the kiss but pulling away before anything could go too far. "What did you do?"

Jack was a bit disappointed, but it made his promise easier. "For once, this wasn't my fault. I don't think," he said, letting his hand fall to rest on Cedric's shoulder. "I ran into my body and it's current inhabitant on the stairs. I'm thinking you had an interesting morning?"

"I think I scared him," Cedric said. "A lot."

"Scared him? Really?" Jack flopped down on the bed and stretched out, patting the space next to him in invitation. "He didn't seem scared. Oh, and I promised I'd be on my best behaviour while I'm wearing his body."

"He woke up naked with someone he didn't remember going to sleep next to," Cedric said and took the seat. "He was scared."

"I guess that could be scary if you weren't used to it." Jack felt a little bit bad about teasing him now. "Now that I think about, he was a little jumpy. I told him to relax. This stuff wears off eventually."

"You hope," Cedric said and looked over at him.

[vkandis_son]

"I've been a fox, a mouse, a beast and a girl," he said, counting them off on his fingers. "They all wore off. This is the first time I've been someone else, but I'm not worried." Jack shrugged one shoulder. "If you want me to stay somewhere else until it does, I can do that."

"I didn't say that," Cedric said, frowning. "It's just...different. Your hair's curly."

"Cute, isn't it?" Jack tipped his head forward and shook it, making them bounce. "I'm shorter too, leaner, and I don't know what this kid gets up to, but he's got muscles like a dancer. And does that mean I can stay?"

"It's your room, Jack," Cedric laugh, "but I wasn't going to ask you to go anyway. Have you been feeling yourself up?"
