I got these really hot headphones for Easter. They're on the ear type, no more ear-bud crap for me. And they're noise-cancelling which was miraculous on the bus back here last night. (speaking of, the bus got in early at 3 hours and 20 minutes, but then the fucking cab line took a half hour! ridic!) Anyway, they're not bose or anything, but they're pretty awesome. They put out that I-take-my-music-sereiously vibe. I mean, with these, my chucks, and my skinny jeans you might as well move me to williamsburg and call me a hipster. oh god. living in new york is getting to me....
I loved seeing people on saturday, it was so much fun to be together again! I'm particularly glad katie collazzo decided to actually come out, since i don't think i've seen her since new year's(!!). It makes me really anxious to be home again for summer. Though being stuck in the house in the franktown is as boring as ever, seeing everyone is so fun.
Ok, so there is so much i need to be doing but no real deadlines so it is SO hard to make myself do work. Even forcing myself to figure out what it is i need to do is hard. GAH! story of everyone's lives right?
So tonight I'm going to Serendipity for a friend's birthday (oh yeah, happy birthday erinnuzzo) and thursday I'm hoping to see the Thermals and the Hold Steady who are playing at my school. then this weekend I may be going to visit DC, which I've only seen once and I was 5. So exciting things in the near future! (as maddie would say) HUZZAH!
