*Anyone who sees Lyle get out of his cockpit would notice he has a different Haro with him this time.  A strange, periwinkle one that just happens to have a holographic projector, revealing the form of a certain woman that everyone's thought dead for months now.*

Cut for infodump and gratuitous amounts of apologies )

This seems to be the new trend.

Someone apologizing once they return to the GDF after turning traitor? I believe that's been one of the GDF's earliest traditions.

I meant the Haro body.

Regrettably the only clone bodies that Ribbons had on the station were those for himself and those suicide bombers. I figured this would be less awkward than using one of them.

I don't know which one would confuse Lockon more, really...

...

...and don't feel so downcast about your actions. There was a time in my life not very long ago...in all our lives...when we would have done the same thing.

Maybe so, but it's not something I should forget about.

And yes... Celestial Being has come a long way. For the better, if I say so myself.

Humanity's come a long way too.

Both still have a long way to go, however.

I'm looking forward to seeing it.

And yet you're staying with Veda?

It is my place. Besides, I've spent enough time with humans for now. Now, I can watch over them. At least, until the dialogs to come...

And after that? There's nothing saying you couldn't return then and live your life however you choose.

With Veda's power, I could probably determine exactly whether or not that would happen, and when.

I'm not going to, though.

I'm sorry to hear that. But at the same time it's your decision, and you're not one to make choices like this lightly.

That's the difference between the human and the "divine", after all.

Choice.

By choosing instead of being predetermined, I selfishly hold on to some of my humanity. I hope you don't think less of me for that.

It's through interactions with humanity that I've found true happiness. I could never think less of someone for trying to hold fast to what little of it they can.

I wish you well, Tieria Erde.
