Jsquared story from the kink/cliché challenge. Jensen’s being haunted and he’s freaking out. It is incredibly well-written, funny and fucked up and kinda scary by turns. Oh, and hot. Yes, indeed. She writes a convincing freak-out with just the right lack of awareness on Jensen’s part. She writes the boys as such boys and it rules. My favorite moment might just be when Jared’s comforting Jensen about his flip-out by saying, “So there I was in my girlfriend’s parents’ bathroom, puking up a lung with a load in my shorts, and all I wanted to do was die. It really sucked. I didn’t even have any other clothes to change into, and my girlfriend was banging on the door wanting me to let her in. I guess she wanted to watch or something, I dunno.” It’s not just what he says but how he says it that cracks me up. It’s just so right for him. I love the ways Jared comes up with to try to solve the problem, and Jensen telling him ‘you know you’re not really Sam, right?’ because Jared totally would try to do it just like the script writers told him to. To sum up: oh. My. God. I loved this so incredibly much. Go and read.

Jsquared first time story. The guys are awkward and totally not on board with the whole man-on-man thing. After a drunken kiss sparks homosexual panic in the both of them and their easy camaraderie on-set falls by the wayside JDM steps in to play yenta. Jared and Jensen fumble their way through a first time, fueled partly by bravado and partly genuine lust. Qualifiers: I wasn’t really willing to believe in JDM’s interference - it read as authorial intervention rather than something a person would ever say or do - but ultimately it doesn’t matter. That so isn’t the point of the story and is fairly easy to ignore what with the story being a fun, hot read.
