hooray!

Wahoo and Yeehaw and all that. I did the leg press, hip machine, lower back, abdominal, overhead press, rear delt and some kind of pulldown Nautilus moves last evening. My yoga teacher AND my swim coach were in the spin class right in front of me! Then I did 75 min of yoga  - Annette must have gotten inspired by the spin class. We did some different things. And finally to round out the Thursday, 1750yd Master's Swim workout. My normally slightly foggy goggles were really unbearably foggy/leaky last night.  Deann finished before me whereas I finished before her Tuesday. Oh well, I DID do the whole thing and this time it really was 1750 yds. The evening was not without pain, but I worked through a bit of it. So today when I woke up my knee wasn't nearly as sore. I mentioned the consult with
shaayla to my chiro today and he agreed that strengthening the quads was the first thing to do. Only I need to find the leg extension machine at the Y. Don't know why Carly didn't point that out the day she designed my Nautilus workout. Anyway, I've been up and down the stairs (3 flights) here at work twice today and only a slight bit of pain. I'll keep working on it but may not feel like running this weekend -- if I do, it'll be on a treadmill in Sherman, Texas.
