Just to let everyone know I am still alive, sorry I have been missing for a while but there is a good reason I promise.
G, the DB has been accepted to go and study for his Phd, unfortunately, it is at Aberystwyth Uni, which is 100 miles away from where we live, and also neither of us had passed our driving tests. He is leaving to commence his studies on 28th October, and as neither of us knows what his schedule will be yet, I don’t know how long it will be before he can come home for the weekend (I do know it will be at least 3 weeks) so I’m going to be all on my own for a while.
I already know I have a lot of GOOD people who will be there for me while I get used to not having the other half there, but I know it is going to be hard for a while as well.
So, if I start whinging, just remind me that he is on the opportunity of a lifetime, and I have knitting to do so I can save for my trips of a lifetime.
