Catching up rl post.
I am at present lying on my sofa and fanning myself profusely, this is not only due to the heat in Wales today (yes it does appear that Summer has just arrived in Wales), but also due to the fact that the absolutely awesome,
jandjsalmon, who as
airmidm very rightly says is totally made of win has just made me a series of fantastic icons for my character on the Harry Potter RPG I am now playing in. I thought Damian Lewis was hot before, now I just think Phoawrrrrrrrrr. I nealry fell out of chair when I saw them. Thank you so much hunni, I am eternally in your debt for that..
In other news on the Beci life front, I have had a busy but fun weekend. Yesterday we had to go to a BBQ for charity, and when my mom turned up she had my nephew with her. He is coming up to 3 and the most adorable little bundle of fun ever. After listening to him sing Twinkle Twinkle little star, we headed off for the BBQ, although Brandon refused to go anywhere with out my DB. We had exhausted him by the time we sent him home, he had a nature walk and then played on the slide for hours. Actually I think I was as worn out as he was by the end of it but it was fun.
Today, we attending the christening of my cousin's little one. This was fun because I got to be surrounded by kids again. The baby being christened was 14 weeks old and so well behaved all the way through. Also my sister let me steal my nephew, Jordan, for all of the proceedings as well as Brandon wanting his Uncle all the way through as well. We havd fun, but due to me leaving my sun cream in my mothers handbag yesterday, I now appear to have horrendous sunburn on my neck and chest. I keep forgetting how easily I burn.
Oh well that seems to sum up the weekend quite nicely, and unfortunately I now have to return to the work place tomorrow. Boo hiss. Oh well never mind, it could be worse I guess. At least I work somewhere where I can check my lj while I work.
