Still Going...

Diane came over a couple weekends ago to kick off her Spring Break from UNH. We went out spring dress shopping for Joselyn's bachelorette party, but ended up being unsuccessful due to our voluptuous figures and big titties.

The following day we went up to David's Bridal in NH and met up with Joselyn and her sisters April & Amanda, to all try on the bridesmaid's dresses. We ended up being successful pretty quickly! We found a dress that looked flattering on all of our body types! It's black, strapless, and the cloth wraps across the stomach and is pinned with a diamond-looking broach. I didn't think I'd like the broach or the strapless situation, but it surprisingly looked really nice! Right after that we went out and all agreed on the same shoes! Boo-yah! I hope my bridesmaids dress shopping will go just as smoothly.

Later that night Diane & I took our dad out for his birthday...the big 5 - 3! We went to Margaherita's in Concord and the waiters ended up singing him their birthday song and making him wear a sombrero. It was quite nice. :-)

The Friday before St. Patty's Day was a waste of my day. I had planned to go up to NH for the evening to see Bob in his play "Children of Eden," but the weather was so horrible that it took me 2 and a half hours just to get to the NH border! By that time, I got a call from Bob that the play had been canceled. Blah. I just feel bad that I now won't be able to see the show at all because of my schedule. :-(

The following day was St. Patty's Day, and it was thankfully a much better day than the previous one. Joe's friend from high school, Chris, came down for the evening with his girlfriend, Liz. We hung out at our place for a little and drank, we had corned beef & cabbage for dinner, and then went out to The Other Side for snacks, drinks, and ran into Liz's brother Chris who as it turns out I actually knew from Plymouth! What a small world!

After that we stopped at Jillian's for a drink, and then to Bill's Bar where Joe got all of us free drinks for the rest of the night! Liz & I partied the night away on the dance floor, and then headed back to our place. Liz was sobered up by then and they went home that night, but it was an awesome night...the following morning on the other hand...was a little rough...but I don't wish to re-account that.

I spent this past Thursday and Friday at the Agannis Arena at BU with some of my students. We have been working since the beginning of January on creating a robot for a competition. Our robot had to pick up an inner tube and place it on a cylindrical tic-tat-toe structure. Thursday was an all-day practice day and then we had competitions all day on Friday & Saturday. I had to leave earlier to bring some of the kids back to school to catch the bus, but by then our team had won 3 out of 3 rounds! Not bad for a rookie team!

I wasn't able to attend the final day of the robotics competition because I've now added one more thing onto my schedule: an Intro to Special Education class at Northeastern University. It's on Friday nights and then Saturdays from 9am to 5pm. Oh yeah, loads of fun. Thank God it's only one or two weekends a month...either way, I'll be taking that class until May. Now if you'll excuse me...I have some homework to do...
