REVIEW:
Seth is an awesome character, one of the best I’ve read in a while! He seems like a “what you see is what you get” kind of guy - a rude, arrogant, rich guy who just mows over anything and anyone standing in his way. But when you look closer, you find there’s a lot more to him than that. He’s a man who’s suffered great loss in his life, but who is too stubborn to just give in or take the easy way out. He’s awkward and stumbling in his dealings with his niece, but there’s never any doubt that he loves her and would do anything for her.
Although we see him through Seth’s POV-colored glasses, David still comes across as a complex and well-written character. He is unpredictable with a bad-boy look that can’t hide the smart and loving person he really is. David brings just the right amount of chaos and love into Seth’s ordered life without it becoming a sappy Chick Lit romp.
I thought HAPPY ENDING was a a very tightly woven story with a very touching sense of love and humor in it. This will definitely be a keeper for me!
(Plus the sex in this story was just plain, dirty, sexy fun! Boy Butter, nipple piercings, and a back-alley blow job! Yumm!)
