I'm sure Inoue-san did a beautiful job.

Regardless of how well she did with her decorations, I'm not a fan of the holiday season.

Really? Why not? I didn't know much about it until Inoue-san gave me a few pointers, but it's really fun! I was able to find a tree today.

What makes it "fun", if I may ask?

Well, have you ever made a paper snowflake before?

I can't say that I have.

Oh! It is so fun!

You should have Inoue-san teach you how to make one!

...just be careful with the glitter. I fear I have ruined the couch in my office.

I don't think I would have any use for a paper snowflake, but perhaps she could teach my fraccion. They're like children, really. They need something to occupy their tiny little minds~

I'm sure your office -- do you have an office? -- would look very nice decorated for the holiday.

Plus, the tree smells very nice.

Does it? I'm afraid I don't recall what evergreens smell like.

It has made my office smell so lovely! You should get one!

They are rather messy to keep though, are they not? Perhaps it would be better to add a few to Inoue-san's garden.

Well, it kind of is shedding pine needles everywhere, but I just sweep them outside every once in a while. It looks really dry, actually... Maybe I'm not watering it enough.

As long as it survives the holidays, I suppose all is well. The trees are normally disposed of afterward.

Out of curiosity, did you actually decorate your tree as well?

Yes, that is the plan... but I feel kind of bad to just throw it away afterward. It's sad, isn't it?

Kind of? There isn't much on it, but I did put some of the snowflakes that I made on it. Seireitei doesn't have holiday lights or anything.

Not really.

I suppose you could always try making decorations. For example, if you have any spare light bulbs lying about, you could paint them.
