How does a series about terminal cancer manage to be so freaking adorable? In most of the kdramas I've seen so far, the first several episodes are spent making the heroine miserable. She's poor, she's desperate, she's put down by everyone--it's humiliation upon humiliation. I guess the six months to live deal allows us to skip past most of that. Yeon Jae faces humiliation and obstacles, but. . . hmm. It's not as crushing as it could be? She pushes right back, even when it's obvious that she's in pain.
It feels like ages since I've watched a kdrama. I forgot how giddy the romances can be. The dancing scenes with Yeon Jae and Ji Wook are brimming with UST. Are there icons of the tango scenes? I tried my hand at icon making, but the scene was too dark and they came out of Photoshop looking orange. Woe.
