Day 4 -- a song that makes you sad
I said I would post pictures a while ago but I am lazy so you're getting them now. Everyone, I would like you all to meet my precious Beans.
I know the pictures are shitty but ajskjdk look at her. Isn't she the cutest little thing ever? And in case you're wondering that is my illegible handwriting on that whiteboard. It reads "there's no where you can be that isn't where you're meant to be" which also happens to be my favorite lyrics from All You Need Is Love. Yup, I'm a dork.
Something about it, the song is very powerful. Maybe the despair that the song--and the game itself-- gives off; maybe it's not as tangible when you haven't played. But Silent Hill 2 is the single most depressing and frightening game I've ever played. Nothing compares really. It's something you have to give a try someday. But until then, the song is beautiful and it goes a long with a beautifully dark opening cinematic.
