I'm glad to hear that! I really do think that was one of Orihime's low points. I think the same goes for the scene where she was scared of Ichigo in his hollow form. It was understandable considering how similar it was to her brother going hollow but when Orihime loses faith in Ichigo there's something big going on. Of course, then she bounced back by saying the words that singlehandedly helped Ichigo defeat Grimmjow so no complaints here. I have that same faith that Kubo treat us Orihime fans. He's set her up to fight back but still hasn't let her pwn. Kubo, you're overdue! >_< Exactly! Orihime is such a beautifully written character and it's hard to believe she's in a shounen manga sometimes. Kubo has gone out of his way to develop that love so I'm expecting great things from him. :D

I don't think so either. At first she fit into the mold of stereotypical busty female that falls in love with main character but she's become so much more than that. It'd be insult to label her as one thing specifically. You'd think after reading that reading those threads that Orihime was some kind of evil baby killer the way the speak of her. Really, I think it's harsh to say that about anyone let alone the most benevolent character in the whole show. D:

* pat pat * I feel the same way sometimes. Orihime seems to never escape fandoms wrath so I feel you on the relief of having another character take it for once.
