Home office day
Well, after my nice walk this morning, I opted to just work from home.
I'm glad I did because I've only had one call!!
I was much more productive here.
We had a great ride last night. Wolfgang and Sarah bailed at the last minute. Apparently Sarah's cat had to be taken into the vet 3 times yesterday. He's gonna be ok, but she was wiped out.
The weather was spectacular as usual.
This was taken on my way home at about 8:30. It read 89 at 6:00 when I got to the trailhead.
Isn't it almost November?
So it was just us 4 ladies. I brought out my Halloween spirit...
I had more people (out on the trail) tell me they liked my lights last night. Cars blew their horns, etc. Yet crossing one of the big streets I thought we might be taken out by a woman making a left. She stopped and I was yelling something at her and her window was open...oops! She said, "Sorry!". At least she recognized her assholish driving!
I took a chance that the Creekside trail would be open and it was! Even though it's dark, there is external lighting from the little league field across the wash and the car dealerships. So I think that will be our winter route. We rode over to Panera to sit and chat for a few...
I think we only netted about 15 miles, but I think I can find a way to add on a few more miles.
I have WW tonight. I don't know if I lost anything, but I'm definitely having a better week.
