It's pretty funny how quickly things can change. Some people are really far more shallow and selfish than I want to believe. It's funny. The same actions I once benefited from are being repeated, but with me on the other end of the line. I remember having once learned a lesson about defending people: it's hardly worth it in the end. I learned it again, the hard way, again. Some people are so absolutely selfish that they're completely oblivious to what you are risking for them--they only see easy and replaceable comfort in your alliance. I suppose I was wrong about you.
