because you smile and nod at the strange things i sometimes say that are a result of living alone too long.
because you've been there for me at every heartbreak of mine.
because you took acting classes with me in middle school.
because you've been my friend since were what? eight? nine? and even though we haven't always been close, we've always been friends, and damn, that's a long time.
because you sat down on the stairs in vista ridge mall and counted out hundreds of coins, which you then used to make you next purchase.
because you have a fabulous sense of humor.
even though i'm now remembering all the horrible dares you came up with for truth or dare when we were younger. salt & oregano filled bugles. ew.

because we performed the cat in the hat with katie for 7th grade english. and the medusa project. all hail sefkow, streff, & leon-guerrero.
