If you made it to D/FW in five and a half hours, you were really lucky. I've been hearing horror stories all day.

And I'm def. staying in Austin. Enjoy Dallasness, glad you had a safe trip.

when i turned on the news this morning before i left, they were estimating travel time from galveston to conroe (about 30 miles south of huntsville) at eleven hours.

It apparently took some guy 24 hours to go from galveston to tomball, last night it took my dad 4 hours to go from houston to the woodlands.
