(no subject)
i like my poli sci professor. he's humorous. and rambles. and told us all that fox news is not news. and that made me happy, especially since there's a good chance that there were some die-hard republicans in that class since this is east texas. well, and texas in general.
it's kind of nice to be back, now that i'm starting class again. i enjoy classes. most of the time. middle easter history is next and starts in about an hour with my russian history professor, so it will be fabulous. and i will get an a. because i always do. the one downside to class is that ALL my classes start in the afternoon. i woke up at 8am this morning and at 11am i was going crazy. i had no clue what to do. i came on to campus an hour early to check e-mail and print my schedule and such, but still. afternoon classes are going to drive me insane.
i bought eldest yesterday! for over 30% off the cover price (i love you target!)!! i also go the last copy in the store, as far as i could tell, and the cashier told me she'd been ringing those up all day long (i got there between 12:30 and 1). i am 201 pages in, and it's long. 668 pages. so this is good. i love books. and shoes. instyle magazine had a fall shoe special in it, so naturally i had to get that yesterday as well.
tonight i'm supposed to practice merrie monarch stuff with daniella. i hope that works out. i would like to see cindy, who is either terribly busy or has lost her cell phone, or both. any of those would be likely. it's lunchtime and i'm hungry and sitting right outside the computer lab is an ice cream machine and it's taking a lot of willpower to not go and get a snickers ice cream bar. did i mention it's hot? our forecast down here for the next week is 96-99 degrees and 20% chance of rain. i don't like the heat. i want it to be fall so i can wear a sweater.
