i leave hawaii in six days. sadness. but good things are waiting at home, so there is something to look forward to.
today is swap meet, shiro's and fabric mart. i LOVE fabric mart. i could LIVE in frabric mart. you have never seen so many different fabrics in one place. love it love it love it.
tomorrow i think i'll go to the beach in the early afternoon and then i think we're going to go see genoa keawe perform, which means i will have to put on a mu'umu'u and get up there and dance hula or i'll never hear the end of it. beyond tomorrow, i'm not sur what my plans are.
monday night, we went to chai's to eat and hear jerry santos sing. and it was great. jerry santos is half of what was olomana (robert beaumont died of a drug overdose in the early 80s) and i love their music. mom and i fight over custody of the olomana cds, and i can listen to them for a very long time before i feel the need to change the cd. i don't know what it is about them, but they're absolutely amazing. i was really happy i got to go see jerry santos again, but i was not happy that chai's took their really yummy veal off the menu, especially after i kept telling my grandma about it.
so...yeah. i leave on tuesday, i'll be home wednesday morning exceptionally early in the day, and i'm not ready to go yet. i've never been here for so short a time, but i think it'll all be ok because i'll have merrie monarch to focus on when i get home.
