hula today was good.
i get to be madame pele in the new kahiko we learned and leialoha and i convinced kumu that the alaka'is had to have their hair down for the entire show because there was absolutely NO WAY she and i could change costumes AND put our hair in a tidy bun on the top (yes, the top) of our heads after a couple other dances, especially since he said he wanted it to look "long and wild". so yay for that.
and i have the best friends in the world.
anyway, i'm physically and emotionally exhausted now so i'm going to bed.
