smiles_tina tagged me a while ago with this meme/award. I hope she is not angry with us for being late in posting this. I hope the smiles are back now :)

Thank you for tagging me for this award, though I consider this more of a meme thing, I am glad you chose me and enjoy reading my blog. And since you have tagged me, I wouldnt want to disappoint you by not posting this back on my blog. It has been great knowing you so far. Hope to continue this journey on.

3. List 3 things you love about yourself
I would have had answers ready for about 100 things I hate about myself. But sometimes its nice when I have to introspect and check what I like about myself.
a) One of the things I like about myself is that I have a varied set of friends. I like that most of my friendships are not really built on mutual needs, and that I am very understanding that some people need me more than I do, and I am there for them irrespective of the vast gap in our personalities. I try to accommodate all kinds of people irrespective of age/social/economic/cultural differences. Sometimes it becomes difficult to handle different people together at the same time, but then such occurrences are very few.
b) I never give up, I believe everything is possible. I have had really bad setbacks in life. I always pick up courage at every failure, forget the past and stop worrying about the future and live for the moment. When things become normal, I start planning for the future again. I apply the same formula at work and deadlines too, especially when things go really bad. I trust in the divine power of God and always remind myself that things can be worse than the present shit I am/was in
c) I am very grateful for every simple thing happening in my life. I start getting emotional when friends/family do/get me anything special, I end up crying when I get sweet surprises. I keep thanking God for the wonderful people I have in my life, so I never take anyone for granted. I respect and value everyone's significance in my life. This is one thing which keeps me going, irrespective of all the other things I have failed to achieve.
4. Post a picture you love
This picture was taken at SuryaNarayana Temple in Domlur, one of the places I love to visit. I love the way they maintain it so clean and white, gives a sense of purity and holiness. Camera was not allowed inside the Pooja place. But I somehow held the camera below my arm and randomly clicked at this lamp which was left at the corner after the pooja.
Only when I later looked at this lamp, I realized an untold message.
Our life is like this lamp, after burning bright initially, we get exhausted and struggle to survive almost giving up, but all that one has to do, is to fuel it up.

I would lobve to read from all of my friends who do this meme, but very few are regular on LJ. I have picked up few people who are regular on LJ and whom smiles_tina has not already tagged. ( I have also spared all the new moms, but they can do this if they have the time )
