Falling post !
When was the last time I fell ? This was the first thought that flashed across when my hand and leg ached even after hours I fell on 100ft road last evening. I walk pretty fast, but I walk carefully most of the times, though I hit some small stones or irregular surfaces, I balance out quite well. But yesterday, there was this useless metal wire which coiled onto my slippers and ensured that I really fell flat on my left hand and leg. !
No major bleeding, but today the nurse removed some small stones from the wounds in my hand. It pained a lot. My leg is still swollen and red. And in the meantime, I thought I would turn this post into a meme - "When was the last time you had a fall ?" So reply to this post with your answers.
Huh ! 2008 has been a really falling year in all aspects of my life !
My answers to the Meme !
1) Nov 2008 - Bathroom of my home in kalpakkam just after I reached from Bangalore. I held onto the washing machine, so my ribs pained a lot. Mild scratches.
2) I dont remember when, but it was almost 2 years back, when I fell on the way back from my morning walk. There was this lid of a drain/pit which was not firm. So the moment I stepped onto one edge, not suspecting anything, the other edge lifted up and I fell, luckily outside the pit ! I scratched my palm, but the fear of falling into the pit, was more painful ! I am pit-phobic now !
