So, as you will soon discover, I'm bored. I was planning on going shopping but for some reason I have a headache and, within that context, the only thing worse than shopping is shopping with a headache. 'So why not do a poll?' you ask. Well funny you should say that because that's exactly what I've done.
It's about e-mail. There's no way any of you can know the answers so it's purely a guessing game. It'll be fun. Really. Before you start you might like to know that I pre-filter spam, LJ e-mail and mailing list e-mail so what ends up in my inbox is personal e-mail and e-mail from companies that I have bought stuff from in the past and/or might buy from in future. So without further ado, let's get polling...
Poll Pointless e-mail poll Anyone taking part gets the gift of gratitude. Anyone commenting gets even more gratitude. Like...loads of it. Seriously, more gratitude than you can shake a stick at. Just by clicking a few things and writing a few words. That's got to be deal of the century, right? Go on, what have you got to lose?
And yeah...on the subject of music (we were just getting on to that, honest!), this single (Just For Tonight by One Night Only) is out on January 28th and is really very good. Its mixed by music's Steve Lillywhite of 'not just Kirsty MacColl's husband but also a grammy award winning record producer' fame. You may have heard it previously as the theme tune to 'Nearly Famous' on E4 but to be honest that's unlikely. But anyway. 'Where can I buy it?' I hear you cry. Well, it just so happens that you can get hold of it in THREE different formats from
here and it includes a free gift of either eyeliner or tablature! Sounds expensive? You'd think so wouldn't you? Well, you'd be surprised. THREE different formats plus FREE gift delivered straight to your door for only THREE pounds plus p+p. Now that really is the deal of the century. And no, I don't work for the band but I do rather like them and think they deserve recognition.
ETA:
alphabetzoo asked a good question: 'can we listen to a few bars of the song from that website before deciding whether to buy? The answer to that is no, however...if you go to their myspace at
www.myspace.com/onenightonlyonline you can listen to a decent amount of the song on their media player and hear the whole thing whilst watching the video.
