Not only do they have articles on Rayguns, including the types of ray guns (particle beams, plasma beams etc), but also Exploding bridgewire detonators (triggers for nuclear devices, detonate in nanoseconds, which is required to trigger the nuclear explosion accurately enough) and all kinds of other useful things!

Yeah, apparently the problem with Raygun design is the power source. Same old same old...
