From JSonline:
Students vote to keep UWM name
Students voting in a referendum testing interest in a name change for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee favored retaining the name, according to results released this evening.
The student government's Independent Election Commission released this vote count:
University of Wisconsin: Milwaukee, 1,286 votes.
Wisconsin State University: 804 votes.
Milwaukee State University: 82 votes.
Milwaukee University: 28 votes.
Ten voters, apparently fans of the Star Wars films, wrote in a different name, Jedi Academy.
------------
Awesome. I wish I went to Jedi Academy.
