Not working rules!

Unbelievably, I have three days off in a row. I got my usual Sunday off, along with the Family Day holiday (a paid day off). Since that left me with another day off for the week, I managed to get tomorrow off too. Since this is reading week, I've gotten a full three days of no work or school. It rules so hard.

What makes it really special is that Kim has also been off for these days, so we've been able to spend it together. It started on Saturday night, where we went to Stephen's house for a small party after I worked. We had a great time, as usual. The Music Worldians are a fun bunch, at least those who aren't too intimidated to show up for our hard partying ways. We had big plans for the next couple of days of visiting Kim's family for breakfast, recycling some bottles and cans, and watching season three of 24. We got the visiting done no problem on Sunday, but then ran into some interference. Only one bottle depot was open on Sunday, and they were very busy close to closing time. So we skipped out on that and came home. I watched the end of the Canada/Finland game that I had recorded (fucking Canada lost again), and then we decided to nap. Then tried to wake up, only to nap again. And then again. For some reason, I was unbelievably tired on Sunday. For the final nap, I actually managed to wake up and mess around on the internet while Kim slept. She eventually got up and we watched Sunday's episode of Grey's Anatomy, after which... we went back to sleep. So, not much happened there.

Today, we got up around 11 and recycled. We went to a depot in Inglewood, and I'm pretty sure they completely ripped us off. Four and a half garbage bags of cans and bottles netted us under 4 bucks. So, yeah, never going there again. I'm pretty convinced that they always rip you off at depots, but this time was ridiculous. We went out to eat after, then did some grocery shopping. When we got home... we fucking napped again. I love naps, but I kinda wanted to do other things with my days off, but what can you do? We finally did wake up and start 24, but after four episodes, Kim fell asleep on the couch. I don't really think we're gonna get it done at this pace. Sadly, this season really isn't grabbing me like the previous two. It's not bad, but it's not breathlessly exciting yet either. Hopefully it picks up. We also rented a movie when returning Crash, so we'll have to work that in sometime. I also kind of wanted to go to a movie tomorrow, but we'll have to see how it goes.

Tomorrow, I have to take my car in to get the brakes fixed. Right now, only the emergency brake isn't working, but it sounds like it may be indicative of a bigger problem. Hopefully they'll get it fixed tomorrow, and hopefully it's not too much. I'm not excited about having to take it in at 8 in the morning, but at least it's close by. I'll just go back to sleep for what should be a series of naps when I'm done.

So that's my life right now, a series of naps and days off. Was it as exciting for you to read as it was for me to live?
