Private lessons
I LOVE THEM SO MUCH OMG.
I took a private from Brenda C-K yesterday on Ballroom Blues. God, she must've given me enough material to last a year. It'll take such a long time for me to perfect it. Feels like a completely different dance. For someone that's been dancing blues for almost two years, it shocked me when I couldn't seem to master the concepts right away. Ballroom blues is unique in many ways, far removed from your typical jookin' movement. I like the challenge. :) It's addicting.
Anyway, I took it because I'm not taking classes at ECBF. I figured the money saved there would be better spent on a private lesson. I think it was a wise decision.
