JEU - that was me; I'm pretty sure that it was a miss - it certainly wasn't a play I'd considered at the time, though I think that I had an S early and was looking to set up as many hooks as possible for it. Of course, my opponent had one as well.

The horrible blank usage -- definitely not me. What kind of Scrabble player do you take me for?

Previous rack: AEILNRS. It looked as if she was taking great pride in suffocating the board -- I had a spot for the seven to go down, but she played FEA(R) to block. Mistakes were likely made to fish on previous turns. I took points on my previous play, with EARL, and without a tracking mechanism, I didn't realize that there were a bucketful of Ns still out until I picked up two more of them, along with INNY -- a great draw if I'm playing poker, horrible for Scrabble.

In terms of my play, I didn't see TINNY, nor did I know the best play, NI(NO)N over at B5. My play looked like "score with the S and drop a couple of tiles", when it was really "set up a monster outplay if you don't block it". I played SI at L2 for 19 to set up NINNY M3 30 and out, which I got to play when the F got dropped at 5F.
