U.S. Autos
So the U.S. Autos are my new band. Not to say that I started it, but I play bass in it. It's me on bass, Mike on drums and Ian on guitar and singing. It's pretty sweet. Compared to any other band I have ever been in, this is a lot better. The songs are actualy written well, that doesn't really include lyrics though we hacn't really written any.
I've come up with a logo. It's a heart with a ripped banner around it that says U.S. Autos with a star on each side and the heart has the flag inside of it. I hope that whole flag thing is okay cause we are the "U.S." Autos and Ian conciders himself a patriot punk. I think Mike isn't extreamely nihilistic. Let's just hope I didn't go to skinhead for the both of them.
Anyway, other than that I will be home all day watching my brothers. My mom is going to an all day pool party and my dad is working. Later on tonight my dad is going to bring me back in town (which he was being really nice about, he's even going to take me to get some Chinees like I've been craving lately) so I can hitch a ride with Ian to see The Phantom Cruisers, Black Cat Rebellion and two others bands I don't know. It's gonna be awesome.
In terms of hanging out these last few days, it's been limited. One, because of Lizzie being grounded which I am so pissed about. I am mainly pissed about the way her parents and sibling are dealing with it and treating her. She's not a second class citizen and they still havn't realized that yet. It seems they couldn't have been any unhappier to see me and Ian yesterday. I'm really sorry Lizzie.
And two, Paul and Sandy had their phones shut off so there is nearly no way of getting ahold of them to hang out. Me and Ian stopped by their house and Sandy was home, she quit her job and Paul was working. We talked for a while, listened to music, got a patch and then had to go. It was a sad leaving just cause I don't really see them much but hopefully that will all change.
And Mike who has been the real upper in this past week of failures. Once mortal enemy, now band mate and friend. I'm really glad cause I always wanted to be friends with the Runts and now I am. Mike is really cool. We seem to have good band chemistry too, Mike, me and Ian. I'm glad he's back in the mix... for histories sake, he was in the mix for a few days before all the conflicts.
