Aging?
I'm noticing some disturbing trends:
Time is going fast. Very fast. Kevin has been married a year. My twins are almost 1. It's nearly Winter. These things are surprising to me.
I am not very social. Due to lack of free time and increased responsibility, I see friends pretty darned rarely. This is not consistent with my nature, and I don't think I like it.
I whine about the economy, and think about "those days" when things were cheaper.
I am horrified by bratty kids I hear about, with no respect or fear for/of anything, and who are untouched by consequences (legal or disciplinary) for their actions.
I work a job I'm not big on so I can provide for my family, even though it's a bit miserable.
Man, I'm turning into my grandfather.
