between working full time and school, I finally found got to have fun this weekend! I had to work friday but decided to get an early jump on the weekend thursday night -- kristin called and wanted to know if i was up for happy hour, and of course I was. The plan was to get a drink or two and then go home and do some homework and get to bed at a reasonable hour. So 3 and a half hours later we're leaving Up Front to head to negaunee to play quarters at kris' place. kris and i always have fun when we go out, and talking to the cute bartender and waitress was definitely fun too! After carefully weighing the options, i decided that heading out to negaunee for a bit would be fun. I called our friend sara and she decided to come too. So sara cheauffered me out to negaunee, and we lost the first game to kris, but won the second. After quarters we came back and I chilled at saras for a bit and drank me some cool h2o while she watched the new harry potter trailer a million times (NERD! ;)
After work on friday I came home and was planning on doing some homework. But I talked to kris online and there was a small gathering goin on over at her place, so i picked up some lime and tonic and mac & cheese and headed over there and watched tommy boy and played board games. It was fun.
Today Michigan was sporting the night game against wisconsin. Michigan was down three, and on their last play the quarterback -- literally -- fell on his ass, untouched, and fumbled the ball; allowing wisconsin a walk-in touchdown as time expired. the refs were kind, however, and rules henne down so michigan only lost by 3. It was saltier than a CA play. No Lions to cheer me up tomorrow, so my fantasy team better win!
So I didnt get too much homework done as of the first half of the weekend, but Im still way far ahead this semester. Im going to be 1/3 done with my internet social psych class after tomorrow, and ive already got almost all the reading done for my history sem class. Its so nice to be ahead of the homework curve and not have to worry about school getting in the way of fun!
