Tommorrow I embark on a rediculously lengthy plane-journey back the "good old" United States. At least cigarettes will be cheaper. And booze, for that matter. As to the rest...meh. Good-bye nice weather, hello ice and snow.
Also, this journey is taking me even farther away from the land of the rising sun, where asians are presently holding my roommate captive under the guise of a university...Not literally, of course, but goddamn I hate anything that takes me farther from her.
Here's to hoping the Japan visiting works out for the best, eh? Because man-oh-man, I gotsta go!
In other news, 12 gazelles broke free from their cages in the Auckland zoo, wreaking havoc all across the city. When questions, zoo keepers said "I don't really know what happened. One minute they were there, and then they were all kicking me in the face and running like the dickens." Several of the animals ahve been caught, the police finding them in the usual sorts of places one might find a gazelle: strip clubs and casinos. 4 of the 12 escaped animals are still at large, 2 of which are considered to be armed and dangerous. It is believed that these two have used previous mafia connections to procure safe passage out of the country. The other two missing gazelle are still on the run, presumabley heading north. Little is known of possilbe connections between the remaining four.
