Oh yeah...also, I'm not dead.
Been a crazy ass semester, so in case LJ-land hasn't noticed, this hasn't been my priority. Now that I've gotten most of the crap for this semester taken care of, thangz finally seem to be slowing up a bit.
I guess the recap to end all recaps is the best way to transition into potentially returning to the world of the intornet...But where to start? Hah.
First few weeks of school went like most others...lots of class, lots of books, lots of rushing and settling in. The apartment is fantastic...We're pretty regularly throwing a party every week or so, and our themes thus far have gone off really well. We've done great shit like the SuperHero Party, 80s Party, Come As Someone You've Hooked Up With (which was fun), Xtreme Party, Zombified Halloween Party, etc etc. I love it.
School-wise, I fall in love with Soc. more and more by the day. I heart my classes, and I heart my (now single) concentration. Juvenile Delinquency proved to be too early and was infringing on work, so money yet again had to come first. Yeah Dining Hall, rock on.
Fall break was spent at Ben's cottage in Rochester-ish land. It was...amazing. Honestly, you had to be there to get it. 'Nuff said.
Rocky has come and gone, and thanks to Brian and David co-directing and Ben being Frank, I was able to have one of the coolest experiences possible. I worked as a line hooker yelling at people, but much to my surprise they also made me the head MC! I enjoyed screaming at people in the line, be they cunts n fuckasses or actually cool people who appreciated the hilarity of the whole situation. Apparently Anne, TJ, and our whole screaming crew was so effective we gave some girl's dad a Vietnam flashback. It's terrible, but great and confidence-building all at the same time. All the time. Rocky was amazing, and thanks to it and the parties and all the huzzah surrounding it there's a lot of great new faces around that I have Rocky to thank for. What a great experience...what a fun semester, what a fucking crazy Halloween. Shiiit.
Aside from that, I've just been chillin and relaxing with my roommates and all my friends cool enough to come visit. ;P
Perhaps soon I'll have something more worthwhile to babble on about. Or at least I'll post at all maybe.
